She was born October 30th 1912, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. She was the oldest daughter of Ramón Santana and Antera López of Aguas Buenas. Sara married Juan Beltrán in 1932 in Las Piedras. They had six children, two who preceded her in death.

Until the Lord brings us together again, she leaves behind two daughters, Yolanda, (Lee) Halstead of Fort Myers, Florida, Abigail Beltrán of Faison, North Carolina, two sons,
John Beltrán (Mar'eda) of Lansing, Michigan, and Eli Beltrán (Marcia) of Peoria Illinois.
And more than 19 grandchildren, and more than 30 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Sara made a commitment to serve Jesus at the age of seven and was baptized at eight years of age. At the age of ten she began to travel the mountains of Puerto Rico with her dad sharing the Gospel. During her teenage years she was involved inplanting a number of local churches. Sarah was always a leader, in her church in Puerto Rico, in New York City, and served as missionary with the Spanish American Mission in Lansing, Michigan during the 1960s and 1970s.
She served as the lead preacher sharing the Gospel to Mexican agricultural workers that worked on the farms throughout the state of Michigan. During that time she also organized a follow-up Bible study correspondence program with over 500 menthat made commitments for Christ after her Gospel presentations.
Sara was also an author of two books; ``Canaveral´´ a book of her Poetry written throughout her life, and ``Mis Buenos y Malos Dias´´, her memoirs, which covered about 70 years of her long life.
She was an active member and Sunday school teacher in a local church wherever she lived. First Spanish Baptist Church in New York City; Disipulos de Cristo in Las Piedras; the Iglesia Bautista de Restauracion in Las Piedras in PR.
Sara will be remembered for how she wholeheartedly loved the Lord Jesus Christ and her love and dedication to her entire family.

Until the Lord brings us together again, she leaves behind two daughters, Yolanda, (Lee) Halstead of Fort Myers, Florida, Abigail Beltrán of Faison, North Carolina, two sons,
John Beltrán (Mar'eda) of Lansing, Michigan, and Eli Beltrán (Marcia) of Peoria Illinois.
And more than 19 grandchildren, and more than 30 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Sara made a commitment to serve Jesus at the age of seven and was baptized at eight years of age. At the age of ten she began to travel the mountains of Puerto Rico with her dad sharing the Gospel. During her teenage years she was involved inplanting a number of local churches. Sarah was always a leader, in her church in Puerto Rico, in New York City, and served as missionary with the Spanish American Mission in Lansing, Michigan during the 1960s and 1970s.
She served as the lead preacher sharing the Gospel to Mexican agricultural workers that worked on the farms throughout the state of Michigan. During that time she also organized a follow-up Bible study correspondence program with over 500 menthat made commitments for Christ after her Gospel presentations.
Sara was also an author of two books; ``Canaveral´´ a book of her Poetry written throughout her life, and ``Mis Buenos y Malos Dias´´, her memoirs, which covered about 70 years of her long life.
She was an active member and Sunday school teacher in a local church wherever she lived. First Spanish Baptist Church in New York City; Disipulos de Cristo in Las Piedras; the Iglesia Bautista de Restauracion in Las Piedras in PR.
Sara will be remembered for how she wholeheartedly loved the Lord Jesus Christ and her love and dedication to her entire family.
